The Uniting Church and Home
Leaders Network
So it came about when Moses held his hands up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hands down, Amalek prevailed.
But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set.
So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
EXODUS 17:11-13
Like Moses, are your hands heavy?
Church leaders seeking to unite church and home in vibrant, mutually supportive ministry usually don’t find many Aarons and Hurs to help hold them up, but they are necessary.
Perhaps like other church leaders you have wished that there were regular opportunities for leaders like you to gather together for mutual encouragement and training?
If this describes you, then I have good news!
I would like to invite you to attend the next gathering of the Uniting Church and Home Leaders Network.
To be become part of the Network and receive email notification about Network meetings, please fill out and return our Leaders Questionnaire.
The purpose of the Network is to provide opportunities for church leaders to mutually encourage each other and receive training in the reformation taking place in local churches and homes across our nation…and world.
A Focus on the “Whole Pie”
One of the challenges faced by leaders seeking reform in the local church and the home is in achieving and maintaining a balanced focus on the whole ministry pie which we believe is most basically represented in the following core principles:
●God’s glory as the end and means toward that end for achieving reform and in all things pertaining to the local church and the home
●The Great Commission: discipleship and evangelism is the calling that each Christian—and each household—has been given to re-establish His glory, which is accomplished through,
●Heart-level transformation,
●By the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
●Through Household Relationships,
●That Unite the Church and The Home in vibrant, mutually supportive ministry to the glory of God
Vital to our mission is the encouragement and training of church leaders and households in the proficient practice of these core principles.
